1. Where is Wilmur Properties' student accommodation located in Swansea?
Our properties are in the Uplands, Port Tennant and St Thomas areas of Swansea. We have houses on Gwydr Crescent, Kilvey Terrace, Wern Fawr Road, Baglan Street and Kinley Street.
2. Which universities are your properties suitable for?
Our student homes suit students at Swansea University's Singleton Campus and the Bay Campus. They also suit students at the new Swansea Waterfront campus of the University of Wales Trinity St David (UWTSD).
3. How long has Wilmur Properties been providing student accommodation?
We have been providing student accommodation in Swansea since 2012. We are a small, family-run team.
4. Are your rents cheap?
We specialise in providing affordable student accommodation in Swansea only. We focus on the area we know and understand. Our prices are probably mid-range, focusing on providing reasonably priced accommodation that is clean and well-presented
5. Do I deal with the landlord directly or through an agent?
You deal with us directly, with no agents or middlemen. We know our properties well and can answer your questions ourselves.
6. Are your properties licensed and legally compliant?
Yes. All our student properties are fully licensed Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMO)s, licensed by the local authority. We are also a licensed landlord under the Rent Smart Wales scheme.
7. Are the properties furnished?
Yes. Our accommodation is furnished to a high standard and carefully maintained. We renovate each property ourselves and are contunually updating furniture and furnishings with the student experience in mind.
8. Are bills included in the rent?
Our properties are advertised without bills. We are happy to offer a bills-included rate on request, so please ask when you enquire.
9. Which academic year are you currently taking bookings for?
We are now booking for the 2027–2028 academic year. You can see available properties on our Properties / Prices page. This is nearly always up-to-date so if it states available then barring a very recent book then it is available for viewing.
10. How much does a room cost?
Rent varies by property. Current prices for each house are on our Properties / Prices page (wilmurproperties.co.uk/properties), or you can contact us for a quote.
11. How do I arrange a viewing?

12. What is the booking procedure?
Our Procedure page sets out the booking steps from enquiry to moving in. If you have questions about any step, get in touch and we'll walk you through it.
13. Can I see the tenancy agreement before I commit?
Our Agreements page explains the tenancy terms. Please read it before booking, and contact us if anything needs clarifying. All of our Occupation Contracts for student rooms are fully compliant with the Wesh Government legislation.
14. Can I book as a group of friends?
Our properties are shared student houses, so groups are welcome to enquire. Contact us with your group size and preferred area, and we'll suggest suitable houses. We also let some of our rooms on an individual tenancy basis.
